The J. D. Lewis center was established in 2004, in efforts to bring the community together through enriching programs, activities and life experiences. Our programs and events are designed to create a positive leisure, cultural and educational experience which enhances the quality of life for those in and surrounding areas. We also create and sustain community traditions through special community events, outreach activities, and facility rentals. The J.D. Lewis staff, instructors, board members, and volunteers are all outstanding in their professionalism, enthusiasm, talent and dedication to community service.

The gymnasium consists of 2 full size regulation courts, measuring over 9,400 square feet. So whether you’re looking to host a sporting event, business conference or large reception, we can cater to your needs. This large beautiful space has great acoustics and with floor coverings will make the perfect place for your next formal event.
Capacity Seated: 800 – 1,000 (banquet set-up)
Capacity Standing: 1,000 – 1,200 (performance set-up)
